THANK YOU for your generous donations!..
Serious mental illness is the number one cause of disability. At Reed House adults who have the most serious forms of mental illness receive the training, education, and support they need to join the mainstream workforce and integrate into the community.
Mental illness begins between 17-25 and lasts a lifetime but there is hope for the 10,000 people in Chatham County who have this diagnosis. Now they can spend six hours a day, five days a week at Reed House receiving a free breakfast and lunch while they work on acquiring the skills, training, education, and support they need to join the mainstream workforce.
“Reed House gives me a way to make use of my talents, making me feel worthwhile and useful. – Robert

Did you know that just $1.10 provides free meals for a member for one day at Reed House. For $16.00 we can provide an indigent member a 7-day bus pass to attend work and Reed House. $20 helps a member with grooming as they prepare for a job interview or begin a new job.
