Finding Jobs For Those With Mental Illnesses

Serious mental illness is the number one cause of disability. At Reed House adults who have the most serious forms of mental illness receive the training, education, and support they need to join the mainstream workforce and integrate into the community.

Mental illness begins between 17-25 and lasts a lifetime but there is hope for the 10,000 people in Chatham County who have this diagnosis. Now they can spend six hours a day, five days a week at Reed House receiving a free breakfast and lunch while they work on acquiring the skills, training, education, and support they need to join the mainstream workforce.
